Julie Bosak, CNM
Julie Bosak is a certified nurse-midwife (CNM) with 10 years experience working in a variety of cultures and birth settings around the world. Julie came back to partner with Garrison Women's Health Center in 2009 to open an ancillary office in Wolfeboro to benefit the lakes region population. After graduating from New York University school of nursing, she began her career at a freestanding birth center in Washington, DC. She then received her masters in midwifery from Georgetown University School of Nursing, and continued providing full-scope midwifery service to birthing center clients of all ages.
Julie and her family moved to Auckland, New Zealand, where Julie became the first American midwife certified to practice in New Zealand.
Julie has worked in several healthcare settings since returning to New Hampshire as a midwife, including Garrison Women’s Health. Julie enjoys providing both well-women gynecological care and full-scope pregnancy care – building relationships with women and their families to support the best choices for their health. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Midwives Alliance of North America.
Julie lives in Wolfeboro with her husband and two young girls. As a family they enjoy all that New Hampshire has to offer – hiking, swimming, skiing and exploring the wonderful outdoor playground around us.
