Annual Mammogram Recommendation
You may have heard recently that a federal advisory panel recommends that annual Mammograms are not needed prior to age 50. Garrison Women's Health Center and the American Cancer Society, respectfully disagree.
Garrison Women's Health Center will continue to recommend and schedule annual mammograms beginning at age 40, as recommended by the American Cancer Society. Please speak with one of our physicians or midwives if you have any questions.
