Garrison Women’s Health Center is excited to share this moment with you here in our Dover, NH office. 

Our ultrasonographers Tracey and Laurie have over 34 years of ultrasound experience between them. They look forward to evaluating your baby’s well being and providing you with a memory you’ll have for a lifetime.

Accredited Ultrasound Facility

We are proud to be an AIUM accredited ultrasound facility.

The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine has strict criteria that must be met to be recognized by their organization. To earn accreditation we had to meet or exceed national standards and demonstrate excellence in patient care.

Tracey and Laurie are also credentialed through the Fetal Medicine Foundation to perform nuchal translucency screening. This is a specific screening for Down Syndrome performed in the first trimester.

Benefits of Prenatal Ultrasound

Ultrasound, which creates pictures of the internal organs from sound waves, can be very valuable determining the health of the pregnancy, mother and baby.

Some of the information ultrasound can provide include:

• Age of the fetus
• Amount of amniotic fluid
• Rate of growth of the fetus
• Number of fetus'
• Position of placenta
• Some birth defects
• Fetal position, movement, breathing and heart rate
